Dr. Kato’s New Medical Facility Nears Completion
After three years of careful planning and construction, the new medical facility spearheaded by Dr. Yoichi Kato is projected to open in phases between March and April this year. Standing six stories tall and connected to a three-story convalescent home, this state-of-the-art medical campus will significantly enhance its capacity to meet the growing needs of both local and international patients. The facility’s expanded design includes upgraded laboratories and advanced medical equipment, reflecting the clinic’s commitment to delivering top-tier healthcare services.
Seamlessly integrated with the adjacent convalescent home, the new building provides comprehensive inpatient services for the elderly, as well as continuous medical support for cancer patients. This unified care environment is especially beneficial for overseas patients, helping to minimize travel stress and streamline the entire treatment process.
Conveniently located approximately 15 minutes by car from Dr. Kato’s existing medical center, the new facility is also only a five- to eight-minute walk from the nearest subway station. Looking ahead, cancer patients can opt to stay in the convalescent home during treatment, selecting from varying sizes of accommodation units—each equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom, and toilet facilities. This arrangement allows families, including those traveling from abroad, to lodge together and provide invaluable support and companionship on the path to recovery.
